Welcome to the home of Lisa Faulkner's Artwork.

My Biography
I attended Cabrillo College in Aptos California, while commuting from Carmel, and later Monterey California. I really think I flourished within the art department at the college, and worked to created my own language in images.
I have been studying in private since College, and have been fine tuning my style. In my personal work, my main influences are Keith Haring (famous for New York City Subway Graffiti in the 80’s), Pablo Picasso (Master Spanish Painter), and my sister Catherine Kuhlmann (BFA Graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and truly brilliant with a brush). There are hints and tastes of all these artists in my private works.
I began my art education at a very young age. I come from a very long line of artists. I first took up a brush at my Mother's side, and she taught me to draw, paint, and sculpt from while I was still a toddler. My family has always supported my art, and expression since.
In my personal works, I draw my inspiration from raw emotion. The ferocity, intensity, and purity of gut feelings, and strong reactions; of pure peace, love, hurt, and relief just capture my mind, and brushes.
